Northend Youth 1 Portrush 6 Saturday 1st March 2014

The Northend U10s fell behind very early and were shell shocked as Portrush hit them with another 3 goals in a short space of time as they were finding it hard to control the Portrush players who had far to much space and time on the ball. Northend came more into the game and missed some great chances before half time. Half time score 4-0

Northend made more of the second half but when every Portrush had chances they took them were Northend missed theirs, but they did pull one back when man of the match Ciaran Martin skipped pass two players and passed to Sam Crawford to slide the ball home. Northend played out the remained of the game with a great passion but if they are to move on they much learn to defend and finish better. Final score 6-1

Northend Youth 1 Dungiven Celtic 6 Saturday 22nd February 2014

Due to several players missing from the Northend line up they were never in this game as Dungiven were the better team for most of this game. Northend started very brightly but once the first goal went in their heads dropped.

The only bright light for Northend was when Northend scored the goal of the game when Ciaran Martin scored a cracker after four players linked up to set him up and he finished coolly by placing the ball into the bottom corner.
